1. Who we are

RedPilot (“we”, “us”) operates a service that monitors public Reddit content to help you find potential customers and draft replies. This policy describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data. Email address and authentication metadata managed by Clerk. Our own database stores only your email and a Clerk user id.
  • Project data. The product URL, keywords, competitors, and subreddits you configure.
  • Usage data. Which leads you view, dismiss, mark replied, and reply credits consumed.
  • Billing data. Processed by Polar. We receive a customer identifier and subscription status; card numbers never touch our servers.
  • Public Reddit content.Posts and comments matching your configured filters. We store only what’s publicly visible on Reddit.

3. How we use it

  • To operate the service (scan Reddit, score leads, generate reply drafts).
  • To send you email alerts about new leads, if you’ve enabled them.
  • To process your subscription and enforce plan limits.
  • To debug errors and improve the product. We don’t sell your data.

4. Sub-processors

We share data only with the services required to run RedPilot:

  • Clerk — authentication.
  • Polar — subscription billing.
  • OpenRouter / Anthropic / Google — LLMs that score posts and draft replies. Post and reply text is sent to these providers.
  • Resend — transactional email.
  • Reddit— we use Reddit’s public API. We don’t post on your behalf; you copy drafts yourself.

5. Cookies

We use a small set of strictly-necessary cookies for authentication (set by Clerk) and to remember your consent choice. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Project and lead data is retained for 90 days after you delete a project. Billing records are retained as required by law.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Delete your account from the dashboard settings, or email us at privacy@redpilot.app. EU/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.

8. Contact
